Unicon Berlin

24 July 2018

Founding a conference to connect 99 top-tier students through tech.

Just after moving to Berlin in 2017 to study Software Engineering at the newly founded CODE University we, a team of six students wanted to spread the word, meet interesting people from the industry and get insights from experienced entrepreneurs.

In a little over six months, we founded unicon and built the conference up from the ground, with no contacts, money or any reputation.

In three intense days, 99 students from all over Europe joined us to connect with like-minded people from different universities and diverse backgrounds.
We had speeches by inspiring founders in a personal setting and it was amazing to see how our participants connected over the course of the weekend.

After a more than positive reception by our attendees as well as our partners, we are excited to set out for round two of unicon Berlin in 2019!
